The carafe was painted with glass white enamel, fired 022, then regular china paints were used over the glass white enamel. This was her design completely and also her execution of the design, seagull and bird. She fashioned a super seagull and spray painted him white acrylic! Then, as she couldn't get him to "stick" to the top, she added a glass bead!! Smart Lady!!!
